Im a survivor of child sexual abuse, kidnapping, teen runaway, parantal abandonement, rape, domestic violence, drug addiction, alcoholism, homelessness, with mental illness and alcoholism in the family. These elements are easily spoken as if they were nothing at all, because so many non-survivors minimize the trauma and or accuse the victims, it's sad, and my purpose for sharing is to help others understand that they too are not alone. I would not be sharing my story today if it were not for a courageous survivor who shared with me her story, I was not strong enough at that time to even tell her half of the stuff I had been through, but because of her, I learned that there is great power in uniting survivors and teaching one another that one can survive, the secrets are intended by perverts to keep victims silenced. That said, it is quite dangerous in many cases to report the abuse, as often the abuser is a cop, judge, or a person in great power who can have one killed. So wisdome is a good thing to have, perpetrators will all die, and meet their own fate. Unless one has the courage, proof, DNA etc, and guts to go through a trial reporting it can be challenging and a personal decision to make. I never reported any of the crimes commited against me, exept that the cops were called when I was a child and kidnapped, and that was one circus where the aftermath was also as worse as the kidnaping.... It happened out of the country and gladly moved, I don't know if they ever caught him or not, he will have to face his maker one day. It's a concern of mine to teach children how to be safe, it is geting more challenging by the year, as more and more parents spend less and less time with their children, and the children spend more and more time on social media.
